English 10 (Period 3B)

The tenth grade English curriculum has been designed to increase student ability in connection with the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts and Literacy to ensure college and career readiness. The five categories of focus are reading literature, reading informational text, writing, speaking and listening, and language (written conventions).

The course will prepare students to succeed in the Smarter Balance Assessment (SBAC), SAT, and ACT tests.
