Theater Design (Period 3A)

This course is intended to increase the student’s analytical, research, drawing, and spatial problem solving skills by focusing on the design requirements of multiple scene settings, settings for musical, comedy,dance, and settings for proscenium theatre forms. This course places an emphasis on period style and presentational forms of staging. The course also aims to expand the student’s familiarization with dramatic literature by assigning plays drawn from diverse of periods and cultures.
