Ms. Ogden

Hi, there! I’m Ms. Ogden and I am an AVID, Homebase, REM Cycle, and English Language Arts teacher / Department Chair. As a San Diego native, I am passionate about educating our young community members who will shape the future of America’s Finest City!

After falling in love with English as a high school student, I majored in Literature and Writing at California State University San Marcos. During my undergraduate education, I was fortunate enough to study abroad in England to further deepen my English studies. I later moved to California’s central coast and received my English teaching credential from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. During the pandemic, I received my Master's in Teaching from San Diego Christian College.

When I am not teaching, I love spending time outdoors with my family and friends. I definitely have the travel bug and love exploring new places, trying new foods, and meeting new people along the way. Although my travels take me near and far, my heart is in San Diego and the amazing students in it. Go Falcons!
