Rachel Medlock - ELA and ELD

Hello students, families, and guardians!  During the 2023-24 school year, I will be teaching English/Language Arts (6th grade), English for multilingual students (grades 6-8), REM, and homebase.  

 

In addition to being a middle school ELA and ELD teacher, I am also the head coach for cross country and track & field for O'Farrell High School.

 

This is my fourth year at O'Farrell (fifth if you count the student teaching I did at the high school!) and my sixth year living in San Diego overall.  Before teaching middle school, I taught at and ran meditation centers on the East Coast.
