Information on Food and Meal Distribution
 
O'Farrell Student Meal Distribution: Meals are being distributed Monday through Friday between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in the school parking lot. Please have the student ID or a picture of each student that you are picking up meals for with you; the child does not have to be present.

Pandemic EBT- Due to COVID-19, children who are eligible for free or reduced priced meals at schools will get extra food benefits called Pandemic EBT (P-EBT benefits). Families may receive up to $365 per child.Families that already receive  Questions regarding Pandemic EBT may be emailed to PandemicEBT@dss.ca.gov.

Families with children who get CalFresh, Medi-Cal or Foster Care benefits do not need to apply. Most will get their P-EBT card in the mail during the month of May. P-EBT cards will begin arriving around May 12, 2020.

Families with children who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals and who do not get their P-EBT card in the mail by about May 22, 2020 must apply online before June 30, 2020. The online application will be available beginning May 22, 2020 at ca.p-ebt.org.
