Welcome!
My name is Mrs. Castillo and I am your child's 2nd grade teacher for the 2023-2024 school year at O'Farrell Elementary School! I am excited to be sharing this journey of learning with all of you!
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Christian, and we have a beautiful daughter, Talia, with one on the way due in October 2023. I received my bachelor's degree from San Diego State University in Social Science and a minor in Geography. I also completed SDSU's Master of Arts in Teaching in Math/Science Education. I enjoy spending time with my family, eating different ethnic foods, traveling to new places, and working out.
This will be my 8th year teaching 2nd grade at the O'Farrell Charter School. We have an amazing team of educators and staff who are dedicated to providing the best education for your child(ren).

Estoy casado con mi novia de la escuela secundaria, Christian, y tenemos una hermosa hija, Talia, con una en camino que nacerá en octubre de 2023. Recibí mi licenciatura de la Universidad Estatal de San Diego en Ciencias Sociales y una especialización en Geografía. También completé la Maestría en Artes en Enseñanza de Matemáticas/Educación de Ciencias de SDSU. Disfruto pasar tiempo con mi familia, comer diferentes comidas étnicas, viajar a nuevos lugares y hacer ejercicio.
