Mrs.Uchimoto

 

I have been teaching for 12 years. I am originally from Chicago and have taught every grade from K-8! I taught third grade here at O'Farrell for five years before moving to fourth grade. I went to college at Illinois State University with a minor in Spanish Language. I moved out to San Diego to be closer to my sister and twins while the rest of my family is back home. 

 

This  year in fourth grade the students will be working extremely hard. We will be tackling multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions as well as applying prior knowledge to unknown concepts. We expect a lot from our kiddos and give them all the tools needed to achieve their dreams. My classroom reflects a positive learning environment where all are welcome. I am particularly excited to see all that we can accomplish this year.
