I believe that learning a new language lead every student to unforeseen opportunities, so I am very excited to teach Language Lab and English Language Development for the 2018-2019 school year!
I was born and raised in Ecuador, where I completed my undergraduate degree in Educational Psychology. In 2000, I came to the United States, and in 2004 I completed my first master's degree in Special Education at Elon University, in North Carolina. My second master's degree in Language, Literacy, and Culture is from Adams State University, in Colorado. Last year, I also obtained a certificate in Advanced Education Leadership at Harvard University.
This is my second year at The O'Farrell, and I am looking forward to keep introducing my students to a new language, as well as to new cultures and perspectives, while preparing them to compete in a globalized world.
