6th Grade Band (Period 3B)

This is a beginning band class. No prior music experience is required.  The emphasis is placed on the physical aspects of playing, tome production and reading standard music notation. Students with one or more playing experience have the opportunity for chair placement.  Instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Alto and Tenor Saxophone, Euphonium, Trombone, Tuba, and Percussion (snare drum, timpani, triangle, claves, and other non pitched percussion instruments.
