This designation is reserved, nationally, for approximately one-hundred and twenty other traditional public schools. AVID operates in forty-nine states and sixteen foreign countries. O’Farrell Community Charter School is the second middle school within the SDUSD to achieve this distinction. O’Farrell will now open its campus to other schools throughout California to share its philosophy and structure on how to bring about a college going environment. I would like to extend warm congratulations to the O’Farrell Community School Board of Directors, staff, parents, community, and, especially, the hard working students of O’Farrell Community School.
