Science Club News

This year students in our popular Science Club participated in I Love a Clean San Diego’s “Adopt a Canyon Clean-up project. In November, about 30 science club members, walked to the Cervantes Canyon and managed to clean up about 500 pounds of trash!

Not only did they all earn community service, but they have also earned the gratitude of community members by showing that they are working to make our community safe and strong.

Other canyon clean-ups will be scheduled for spring, so if you missed the last one, don’t worry. Instead, talk to your science teacher for more information about how you can help make San Diego more beautiful—one canyon at a time.
