Academic Four-Year Plan
All OCS eighth grade students complete a high school four-year plan in preparation for high school. This academic plan is a four-year course outline to assist students and their families with ensuring all students are on enrolled in the proper high school courses, on track to graduate from high school, and able to apply to the competitive college of their choice. The rigorous high school curriculum begins with the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) A-G requirements, a 15-course sequence in seven academic areas in which students must earn a C or higher in each course.
Honors, Advanced Placement (AP) course offerings, as well as college admissions test such as the PSAT, SAT and ACT are also detailed in in the high school four-year plan. For more information regarding the four year-plan, please see your student's Homebase Teacher or School Counselor, or click on the "Graduation Requirements" tab.
