The O’Farrell Charter School offers transitional kindergarten (TK) to all students whose fifth birthday falls on or before June 1 of the academic year in which they are enrolled.
In consideration of the developmental, academic, and socio-emotional needs of young children, the school operates on a modified day for students in transitional kindergarten.
This schedule starts students off on a minimum day schedule and gradually increases to a full day schedule as the year progresses and as students become developmentally ready for the rigors of attending a full day of school.
